Stronger than the Storm: Investing in Missouri’s Health
Tornadoes aren’t only about broken windows and downed power lines. Just like floods aren’t only about wet carpet and drowned crops, or heat waves about a few uncomfortable days. These extreme weather events break systems: health systems, housing systems, community support systems. And those breaks are deepest where communities were already stretched thin.

Centering Equity and Supporting Innovation Through Fiscal Sponsorship
At Build Missouri Health, fiscal sponsorship is more than an administrative function—it's a cornerstone of our commitment to fostering community-led innovations that promote health equity. By serving as a fiscal sponsor, we create the conditions for emerging organizations and coalitions to thrive, ensuring they have the resources and support they need to tackle Missouri's most pressing health challenges.
Notice Something New?

Spring = Preparation + Anticipation
At Build Missouri Health, we’re also anticipating exciting things for 2024 and began the year preparing the board for our new work with an annual retreat. Our board retreats give us focused time to build relationships with each other and dive deep into topics relevant to BMH’s mission, vision, and values. Deciding to add a site visit led us to hold our retreat across the state in Kansas City, MO!

If you would like to join us in this work, we would appreciate your joining
